Facebook LIVE 9/27/2017
For this week’s team-up with HealthyPlace, my Facebook Live delves into depression, ADHD, loneliness, and bipolar signs in children.
Have questions about SSRI withdrawal? Dealing with a child that has bipolar disorder or bipolar symptoms? Feeling disconnected with your partner or future spouse? Feel stuck in life or lonely? Does your ADHD affect your work-life?
Life isn’t easy, and there are always many factors that make us feel overwhelmed or at a crossroads. Here’s some advice on reevaluating your decisions and validating yourself. We want to make sure we get to all your questions.
Here are just some of your questions I answer in this week’s Facebook Live:
1. Marcie – I know this sounds horrible. I hate my son. He’s 10 years old and has bipolar disorder. I feel bad for him, but he’s wrecked our family and my life. Even with treatment, his behavior is horrible and at times, we even fear for our lives. My marriage is coming to an end and I’m feeling horrible.
2. Dylan – I’m taking antidepressants for depression, and they help some. But I’ve put on so much weight and I’m thinking of quitting them. Advice, please.
3. Ellen – I’m about to get married, but I really don’t want to. I know that sounds strange. But the plans are so far ahead and with a month to go, I haven’t been able to get up the courage to call it off. What can I do?
4. Stan – I’m having problems performing my duties at work due to having ADHD. I know they’re probably going to fire me. Do you think I should tell them I have ADHD and that it’s causing a problem for me?
Stick around and let us know if this advice helped you! Write below what advice you would love, and join us for next week’s HealthyPlace Facebook Live.
See you toinight,
Em
