I’m obsessed with powerful and positive quotes, sayings or images. A simple saying can turn my day around. I always say positive thoughts, produce positive feelings leading positive vibes. How great is it that we can get these positive feelings and thoughts from quotes and images online? When my energy is zapped or I’m in a crummy mood positive quotes, real ones, not the cliché stuff, can actually improve my mood and help me give off positive energy.
When you are in a negative mood, you give off negative energy, seriously. So when I’m feeling icky, I do whatever I can to change my thoughts so that I’m giving off positive vibes (and feeling positive too). Think about a time when you walked into a room and felt that awkward or uncomfortable energy from someone, it totally exists right? I have to shake it off with purposeful intentions and if I know I’m headed into a situation with negative people I do my best to used affirmations, positive quotes and pictures or gratitude help me stay in good place.
Positive feelings can often come from inspiring quotes. The same is true when you are kind to yourself or someone else, feeling joy in an experience, doing something healthy for your body or mind, or hanging out with people who lift you up. If it’s a typical day where I’m stuck at a desk, inspiring quotes will do the trick fast.
I look on social media for inspiration, fill my Instagram with positive quotes and pictures that make me happy and motivate me in the hopes they will inspire my followers. I realize that when I’m feeling negative or down that a quote, inspirational print or funny picture can actually improve my mood too.
Here are some positive quotes that I love. Download them, Pin them, Instagram them and use them to boost positive vibes. I have no doubt that when you share these or other ones you find inspiring others will be lifted up too.
Positive Quotes That Produce Positive Vibes
Each decision you make will impact you tomorrow or in two weeks or in two years. Make your future self happy okay? That means drink that extra bottle of water, write that email you’ve been putting off. Do one small thing to make yourself feel happier later today or later in your life.
Remember that time when you thought you couldn’t do something and then you did it? Like really well? Yeah, stop underestimating yourself it’s a waste of time. What isn’t a waste of time is remembering how good it felt to accomplish something you really thought you couldn’t do. Sit back and remember how good it felt, it will create more positive energy towards the thing you’re currently struggling with.
When I’m feeling inspired, I make my own inspiring quotes and images so I can share positive vibes online. This one is one of my favorites. Really, beating yourself up for something that has already happened doesn’t help you, it hurts you. Move forward by reminding yourself that ‘it is what it is’ and ‘if it’s not this, it’s something better.’ has helped me. Staying stuck in anxiety and worry thoughts, makes me feel negative and that’s not what I’m going for is it?
Again, so true right? You can’t change others or their actions. You can get angry, you can get even or you can get mindful and fu*cking confident. Don’t give into their negative energy. Use your superpower, mindfulness and the tools from Express Yourself to say something that shows you respect yourself. If you feel like you can’t say anything nice at all, don’t say a word until you feel like you have control over your emotions.
Your outfit, makeup, hair color or filter on Instagram doesn’t make you beautiful. It’s your attitude. Ugliness is obvious, when someone is mean spirited, rude, engages in activities to hurt others, or are just down right hurtful they are ugly. Their energy is ugly, their soul is miserable and you don’t need them. The most beautiful thing in the world is kindness. Be nice to others because it feels damn good to be nice and positive. When you make someone smile or hold the door for a stranger doesn’t it feel good? Believe it or not, kindness makes you more attractive to others and radiate beauty.
Amen. Preach Brene, preach it girl. Your negative self-talk creates negative vibes and holds you hostage in a cycle of negative feelings about yourself. It ruins your self-esteem. When you notice yourself being mean to yourself, PAUSE and say sorry (yes say sorry to yourself). Catch the crummy comments you’re making and be gentle to yourself. Literally, talk to yourself the way you would to someone you love.
Do you have some inspiring quotes that help you? Share them with me, tag @GuidanceGirlEm on social media and I’ll share them too (and tag ya). I love spreading inspiration, positive vibes and helpful hints to the world. I look forward to sharing more with you soon.
